Rare and unusual figurine found in Kissonerga

An unusual and rare figurine was discovered, as well as remains of a beer.
Great archaeological finds brought to light the mission of the University of Manchester in the region of Skalia in Kissonerga.
The Department of Antiquities of Cyprus announced the completion of the 2017 excavation survey at the site of Stacy of Kissonerga, Pafos.
During the excavations, an unusual and rare figurine, residuals of beer, structures for producing large quantities of food and spinning of yarns were identified.
In Scale, the remains of a Bronze Age settlement are investigated by the archaeological mission of the University of Manchester.
The site was in use, both during the Late Chalcolithic period, before 2500 BC. as well as much of the Bronze Age, until 1600 BC, when it was abandoned. These are important finds that are now linked to the nearby archaeological settlement of Mosfilia.
Recall that in Kissonerga have also been discovered the oldest wells in the world, nine and ten thousand years old, as well as the fossil of the world's oldest mouse, the 10,000-year-old Mus Cypriot.
