My Saturday Lunch - different fish

Well it is autumn now ( even when the temperature at the seafront was 25C, 18.Oct.) and the time for fresh local caught calamari. I wait all year for this time to enjoy that taste which one cannot compare with frozen or imported staff. So this weekend it was recommended from the owner in my favourite fish tavern at Timi beach.
As a starter I had a small portion of that .... of course after a large village salad, toasted bread and tahini....
and as I am a pig when there is very fresh fish of the day available I ordered as main dish Mourmoura (striped Seabream).... here we are
After that there was only space for a Greek coffee in my stomach, but after I arrived at home I enjoyed a nice German Nuremberg Ginger Bread (Lidl of course) which was washed down with a double Scotch.... as my dessert of the day.

Thank you, Stelios. It looks like my evening is getting even nicer, as in half time my club is leading 2:0 (FC Bayern - FC Augsburg)...

Great to hear about your Saturday lunch again, Max, after a bit of a relapse! That meal looks absolutely splendiforous, I must say! Today, I have reversed your dining order.
In a couple of hours time, I will be enjoying Chicken and Sausage Madras curry, with Garlic and Coriander Naan bread, and a small pot of hot Lime Pickle. I have been on the whisky for the last three hours, just to wet my appetite, LOL!
Yiamas! AL

Sounds great that Al. I have done home made Donner meat and chicken tikka. It is going in an Arabic bread with chopped salad and hot ring sting

Chili sauce all home made from scratch apart from the Arabic bread. Whisky and curry erm not sure maybe a cold Cobra.

I went to Bayern Munich against Bolton in the Europa. Had a smashing time and watched the game through one eye due to the beer
