Another Random Picture

Before we moved to Cyprus, we lived in Frimley, near Aldershot. We were also near the firing ranges. One very old range has some abandoned butts which have been left to nature. It is an eerie place, only ever visited by the occasional adventurous dog walker, and a couple of years ago I placed this little memorial there.
Just to remind the old soldiers that still haunt the place that they aren't forgotten.
One of the things I love about exploring Cyprus is seeing the little shrines dotted about the countryside in remote areas, to honour the departed. Some of them may get run-down, but they still get fresh candles on occasion.
