If it arrives, then this is just wotz needed for the reservoirs at present. Not to mention a free car wash (if your car is parked in the open), plus your garden and lawns watered, your patio and driveway and pavement all hosed down by Mother Nature!

Just keep your fingers crossed that the rain still doesn't carry that nasty red Saharan grit that's still being pulled around up there in the jet streams...

AL :)

Wouldn't be the 1st time I swam in the rain, but it's so much nicer when it's sunny when you come out and you can relax on the beach for a while then have a kebab and glass of wine at Timi beach taverna...

I'm not the biggest fan of rain, but I'll be happy if it's pouring at dawn, to ruin the start of hunting season for the hunters

Yes, me too Ams. Otherwise these hunters tend to start shooting from the bottom of the ravine near our house even before it is light enough to see!

I would be surprised if a bit of rain stops them. Unless it means the animals stay hidden.

Looking at the latest wunderground weather for Paphos it isn't indicating severe weather at present. It says that rain may start at 11pm and at present will last for about 1.5 hours... light to medium. Perhaps the rain will be heavier later on in the night and early morning..

Yes it is. The Paphos Life Weather Matrix gets it's data from Weatherunderground and it is showing rain and storms all over.

https://www.paphoslife.com/weather/matrix

And Weather Underground itself is showing rain and storms...

We've had a lot of rain in Polemi overnight, and there was some thunder at some point but I went back to sleep without checking what time it was. Our pool has got more than 4cm of water in it that wasn't there last night though, and it is still raining. Haven't heard a single gun shot though.

No shots here either! I wonder if hunters don't like the rain because their camoflage gear looks as if its only made of cotton, ie not waterproof? Also no bird song either, so maybe the birds have taken cover from the weather!!
