Ihave been using my Mag 254for nearly 2 years with very few issues. I recently changed suppliers to ukTv media, and all was fine, but in the last couple of days it has been awful, waiting up to 10 minutes to pick up a stream whether on switch on or changing channels. I end up looking at the epg, with a blank preview screen. Internet is fine, speedtest showed 9.99. It is getting unbearable, I end up switching over to my amazon fire TV box which connects though an additional vpn router which slows the connection down, but streaing on iplyer is solid. When I changed TV supplier I only changed the portal name and url, is there anything I have missed? the entry for pool server has not changed. All equipment has been rebooted several times with no effect, I feel another change coming on as there id=s no link for support on the website.

Any advice welcome!

Currently with UKTV Media on my old mag 250, getting good service as normal. Maybe a box problem. Make sure you have the latest software installed.

Have uktv.media on MAG254. I have only one minor problem of little consequence. When BBC switches from kids' to BBC4 at 21:00 (local), the picture/sound breaks up for 2 or 3 minutes, then becomes normal.

I have a mag 254 box and get my tv service from Andy's down by Paps and we have real problems when trying to watch Sky sports in an evening and all channels freeze or buffer from time to time. Andy says it is a Primetel issue on the feed to Polemi but for the €25 a month I pay I am not too happy with the quality at the moment. Primetel say there should be no problems.

Can you ask a friend to try his box at your house... As long as the content is not from Andy..

Rarely, but a problem last night on uktv.media with terrible glitching on BBC4. Switched to BBC2 in desperation and watched Dad's Army

Sadly, can't get a repeat of the programme on the Gunpowder Plot.

Devil , why can you not get a repeat of the BBC 4 gunpowder plot program ?

I only have the 6€ a month package from uktv media , but I am watching it now .

You can watch BBC iPlayer if you use the Beebs add on to Google Chrome.

I have just tried it and the Gunpowder plot is on there

We had no streamed service last night on the mag 254 uktv on any channels. Could get all catch ups and other bits and bobs but no actual telly programmes

Well surely that can't be blamed on Primetel . if you could get the catchup OK then you have enough internet signal for streaming TV..
