Does anyone know a contractor who will take away internal doors to respray them then re-hang them?

I moved your request here, as more people will see it then. When you find somebody, if they do a good job, please do post their details in the Recommended Contractors section.

You may also want to look in the directory:

The Home Improvement section isn't huge yet, but one of those companies might be able to help.

We took an internal door to a company on the Mesoyi Ind estate, as you turn into the estate as if going to the transport dept, on the right hand side. They also supply kitchen cabinets etc....

Sounds like Central Woodworking that you're talking about, daveg?

http://www.central-woodworking.com/

This would make an excellent addition to your Directory, Dominic, if it's not already there...

Cheers- AL :)

Ref my earlier post, we used Caz Door Repairs. They collected, refurbished 4 internal white panel doors, returned & fitted them. You can contact them on Mob. 967 76150.

One must remember that Al's recollections may not be based on current facts! Central Woodworking did once have quite a big shop of the Mesogi Ind Estate where they made and sold furniture byt they have gone now...

That is a surprise to know that they have gone Dee. We were in there last year and know exactly where they are. They are (or were) on the road Parallel to Polis Road.

Renovations on Mesogi road. The Joinery shop is just on the right as you go into the road transport road. Nakis is the boss and you can go in there and discuss what you want.

I think the joiner that daveg may have been referring to is Andreas Demitris in the Mesogi industrial estate. I've used him many times over the years and not only is he a very professional tradesman he's also a genuinely nice guy, I'd highly recommend him.
