....but they are there now, and what lovely flowers. Thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to looking around for some early spring flowers from Sunday, when I come back for a while.

It isn't this board that is the problem. I tried browsing to the link in the first image directly, and it is just blank. Weird?!

I have had a lovely surprise show of roses in bud in my garden. Unheard of in previous years here! Now the scented narcissi are in bloom under the olive tree. Very pretty.

Plenty of flowering around here and, further down towards Agios Demetrianos, there is some pink blossom appearing on an almond tree. For some reason that tree always seems to be first around these parts.

The link that was posted was to a photo on another site. It will be rendered here, but the actual file is present somewhere else.

Happened to to notice some baby figs in someone's garden the other day. Couldn't believe it, we've only just hard-cropped ours.
Weird question, but do fig leaves make you scratch? I had to cut a fig tree down, and I eventually had to go to the chemist to get some allergy pills, I was affected so badly. It was most odd!

Narcissi blooming under an olive tree - now that is a beautiful thought.

Adam was OK but Eve definitely had an itch!

Dominic -
"Skin contact with figs or fig plants can cause an allergic reaction in hypersensitive people. The leaf and root sap of the fig tree typically causes more allergic reactions than the unripe fruit and other parts of the tree. ... When the fig is eaten, the skin may be more responsible for allergies than the pulp."
From an article on Livestrong.com. So you are not the only itchy-figger.
