My bill for Sept came today, and Sept is the best
month of the year for us.
For several years now, we always get a discount
on this months bill.
This time it's eu23 discount.

I wonder why there is a discount ? No doubt the reason will be buried in the T&C's somewhere :-)

Would be interested to know more about why this was?

I received the discount and popped into the CYTA shop in Polis. Apparently this year your twelfth month's internet is free. We pay about €39,00 a month but this month received a credit for €23,00. This is free internet according to the girl in the store and the other amount on the bill is the line rental.

Yes we always got the discount too - I think it may have been on the anniversary of first joining but not sure. We never had to ask just always got it for it must have been the last 5 or 6 years, I'm sure if you look on their web site it mentions it.

If you sign an annual contract then after eleven payments you are entitled to the free month. This is automatically applied every twelve months thereafter. However, if you decide to have the internet temporarily disconnected and reconnected (eg you go overseas for a few weeks) then you will have to wait until you have completed eleven payments before you get your free month so it isn't necessarily the same month each year.
