Agreed, sad indeed. It also shows how amazing animals can be. The way she gently taps the back of his head, and the joy on her face.
I wonder how many things some of us humans miss, by assuming animals are "not that clever". The more we look and listen, the more we see and the more we learn.

I didn't find this upsetting at all. I found it more uplifting than anything.
