If you add the year you were born, to your age, you will get 2017, only comes round every thousand years apparently ....

Hmm! Age = 60 , Born = 1956 60 + 1956 + 2016 ! Maybe if I wait 45 days the maths will work.

Surely this only works if you have already had your birthday this year? And frankly, if it didn't equal 2017 it would mean you were terrible at maths.

I'm 68, born in 1948. And I have a degree in Mathematics, so my addition is pretty much up to scratch.

Basically, WHL has demonstrated that if you add your age to the year you were born in, you get the current year. I don't know why WHL found this fact fascinating though. Equally fascinating, is that if the day of the week you happen to be reading this on is friday, then the next day WILL ALWAYS BE (!!!) saturday.

but .... what if you don't read it till Saturday, then surely the next day will be Sunday ... or does iy depend if you've had your birthday or not?
