Geroskipou Mural

When we went looking for the new Geroskipou Sculpture Park, we also wanted to take in the Old Camp, as we had seen it previously in passing, and thought it deserved a closer look. As luck would have it, they were right next to each other. However, what we didn't expect to find was a large mural that had appeared, on one of the walls of the camp. As a result, this article is somewhat larger than we originally anticipated, so sit back and enjoy the art...

Had a look at the art. I may be in the minority but I didn't like it in in that locationt! I thought that most of the murals would look better close to primary schools for the kids to enjoy.

Personally, I loved this blog, Dom. Good to see kids expressing their artistic talents, plus worded feelings...

Thanks for putting a nice telegraph pole centre shot in pic #2! Was that specially for me? LOL!

My previous guess about the 'Old Camp' at Yeroskipou / Geroskipou (both the same) being an old 1974 TC POW camp are hereby abandoned. Agreed, it's the pre-Anarita Army base (2000?), for sure!

AL :)

There's a very helpful person on Facebook who is helping me translate the murals properly too.
