Sharing important information.

I have no wish to bore with my story but last week I spent time with professor Brian Saunders who is the leading consultant Gastroenterologist and
specialist Endoscopist at The London Clinic. During the consultation he advised me that, not only my two sons but anyone reaching the age of 50 should consider having an Endoscopy to check for the growth of polyps. As age increases, he said the" risk of them forming increases".
The polyps can be the root of cancerous cells and less easy to deal with later.
In this day and age he said it should be more like getting a regular flu jab.
The Paphos General Hospital has an excellent gastroenterologist in Dr Theodora Demetriou.
This information is from maybe the best in the world and could save a life.
Best Regards....Alan

Scotland offers everyone of 50 and over, a bi-yearly postal faeces test for blood. They will then do an endoscopy as a result, if positive.

I had a positive result 2 1/2 years ago, went private to speed up the process and had pre-cancerous polyps removed. I was told that left untreated, it would almost certainly have developed into bowel cancer.

This disease is becoming ever more popular and I would urge everyone to either volunteer, take or even pay for the simple test. My sister and her husband, in the space of 2 years, both developed bowel cancer and thankfully had proper treatment and everything fine. Contrary to some online information, it isn’t just caused by diet etc. My sister rarely drinks, doesn’t smoke, eats lots of vegetables, fruit, Mediterranean diet etc. She and her husband were very healthy, so certainly can affect anyone.

It's also offered here in England, everyone should accept this if offered in my opinion.
