Dominic, I know that you are not really a herbalist... :) It is NOT a weed. I will wait a bit longer to give a hint until you give a hint for your "Picture of the Day" :lol:

No Stelios, the plant belongs to the nightshade family and is native to Asia...

Does it grow wild Max, or did you plant it? There was something similar in my front garden in Cyprus, only small though. If I was there now, we could compare bush pictures.

Not wild Bograt. I bought the plant 2 years ago in London Flower Shop, Mesoyi Road, when I saw the berries at Lidl's for a reasonable price, but from China obviously. So I tried to grow my own but the few berries it produced disappeared always and the growing of the plant was very slow. I cut the plant down to 20 cm recently and now many shots coming up. I also cut down the neighbour plant, a solanum, in order that the Goji gets more light and water/food. Looks like this was an issue.

When I am back over Max, I will look at the one in my border and see if it is the same.
