£1 coins

Before ditching those old £1 coins from old trousers, handbags, back of sofas etc, check if any are the Capital City ones - stamped as London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast. These are currently worth about £10/£12 at auction, but will rise to about £50 or so once they are removed from circulation.
