Our external gas tank is at about 15% full, so will no doubt need filling up soon. Who do people call for this sort of thing?
Info will also make its way into the directory, so the more data the merrier...

I think that you are supposed to use the people who supplied the tank - or else !

LPG should be refilled with the same supplier usually number and contacts are on your tank, I take it you have refilled in the past? if not most LPG suppliers who refill from tanker will do this for you.

We don't know who supplied the tank. I have looked for stickers on it, but they are fairly generic.

Yes, one gas works better than the other at lower temperatures.but i cannot remember which ,should not be a problem here in Cyprus.

Dominic, if you have Not had a delivery before, then your neighbour will probably know which Tanker has been in previous winters... 15% is quite low by the way.. Most people would refill at around 25% or more.

LPG is a mixture of propane and butane. It is cheaper than either of the single gases. In summer, the proportion of propane is higher in the mix and in winter there is more butane. For this reason, if used for central heating, it may be better to fill up in the winter.

Ok: so two questions, open to everybody:
1. Do you have a gas tank?
2. Who refills it, if you answered YES to 1?

WE get ours from Blue Circle Engineering, there is also Petrolina and others can probably add to the list. If you have no previous invoice perhaps you could phone up the suppliers to see if you are a customer [ I take it the house was a resale ] or the previous owners was.

Blue Circle HO is in Nicosia 22441415. If it turns out that you are a customer you will phone Mario 99245023 not that good English. He is up this way every two weeks at this time of year, does Petrodaki's etc. but he was here last week as he filled me up., so next week now. Best not to let it get so low though

Dominic, we have gas central heating and therefore a gas tank.
The supplier is Synergas.
When we need topping up, we ring the driver to arrange it. He delivers all outlying areas of Paphos district, but only once every 2 weeks to the Polis on a Monday, so we have to time it right. He doesn't speak great English, so a little patience is required.
His number is 977 30555
