Hello,

Does anyone know the best place to get a car ignition key cut in the Polis or Paphos area please. The car is a Nissan Note which is about 3 year old.
Thank you

Marinos Similides. 99683470. we lost our only key on an old car. he not only got the car open, he cuts the key on site and had to deal with an extra alarm that a previous owner installed! very reasonable

In the basement of the Mall there is a key cutter who did our old Pajero keys for under €10.

A bit like Timpsons here in UK, then! Who, incidentally have a very kind long term offer. If you are unemployed and have a job interview arranged, they will dry clean your suit for FREE!

I would have thought the super douper keys to maodern cars would be beyond the capability of the current clutch of Key Cutters in Cyprus. Many have security chips embedded in!

Think Marinos is well up there with the techie aspect of most keys, especially car keys. But also a good guy if you lock yourself out of house and home.

I took my UK 'super dooper' key to Similides about 7 (?) years ago, he said he couldn't do it as it needed a chip as well.

Just had another spare key and fob made for my "keyless" motor at a local service guy, it cost over €250's the key had to be electronically and digitally made, not cheap but Nissan wanted a lot more, a simple key cut service is available on the Habour road downhill from the old town on the left-hand side, he also does electronic keys too, sorry forgotten his name but he is easy to find opposite a Bank, near a car park. In fact, it was his son I believe that made up my new keyless key and fob, sounds contradictory I know, but many newer cars now have a keyless entry now, I find they work well, but very expensive to replace.

Keep the companies coming, with as much info as possible. They will all make it onto the directory if I get sufficient info to be able to find them.
