As Trump lost already his 11 bedroom mansion at St.Martin through the Hurricane it is more likely that his properties at Florida get destroyed.
I wonder if he change his mind (like always) also to cancel the Paris climate accord...as he has called human-caused climate change a “hoax.”

I doubt it. While they are still talking about "the worst hurricane since..." instead of "the worst ever hurricane" he will still argue that nothing is wrong.

People who believe that NO climate change is occurring, will not accept any science. It is undeniable that climates have changed, whether as a result of man’s actions, is the only debate.

As to Trump, he is the glorious leader of a country who will systemically deny anything but positives where the US is concerned. The US twisted the UK’s arm during WWII and removed all remnants of “Empire” at a huge cost. They then gloriously held the mantle and carried it into Asia, South America and beyond, interfering anywhere that didnt toe their line - either for financial or political reasons - but most often due to pressure from defence manufacturers, oil companies and the like. They now do anything to keep oil barrels measured in $$$$$s and products carried to their shores for the cheapest possible prices. They have offered Venezuela a way out, by signing all oil reserves over to US companies!

Is it any wonder that Trump, the archetypal business leader, would do anything to prevent changes to a world he helps control with his ilk.

Depends on your definition of worst ever. The strongest is Hurricane Allen in 1980. Irma is second along with Labor Day, Gilbert & Wilma. The deadliest was The Great Galveston Hurricane, known regionally as the Great Storm of 1900, was a Category 4 storm, with winds of up to 145 mph (233 km/h), which made landfall on September 8, 1900.

As the hurricane has come from the south, Trump will probably blame the Mexicans and build another wall.
