I hope this youtube video link works for you, as it just did for me, in full screen HD. Amazing footage!

Boy oh boy, is a Banks Humvee the perfect vehicle in which to explore the ENTIRE Akamas peninsular, or not? No mention of whether or not it has A/C, though... But I'm sure a local expert would sort something out, if it lacks this vital feature for Cyprus.

16" ground clearance, double that of a Range Rover, I believe! Enjoy! AL ;)

The only snag is that it would be too wide for the track. I wouldn't like to drive up to the light house in something that wide. :o

It's only 2m wide, Dom, same as a 2017 F1 car.. Think of some of the local tracks that the US military drive up and down on regularly in Iraq and Afghanistan?

I bet you could drive this baby all the way to Cape Arnouti, including that perilous stretch of sharp red sandstone rocks past the Blue Lagoon that we have both encountered?

Cheers- AL :)

The cape wouldn't be an issue. Fishermen drive there in trucks easily enough.

There may be different sized ones but I thought they looked wider than 2 mts
Wheelbase 130 in (3,302 mm)
Length 184.5 in (4,686 mm)
Width 86.5 in (2,197 mm)

Bodywork slightly overhangs the actual tyres higher up, if you study the video closely, Trev.

2m it is from left to right tyre outer edges, I believe. What an awesome beast, eh?
