Looking for independent wedding planner in Polis for UK couple who want to get married here in 2019, maybe using family villa for reception. Or indeed to share any experiences of similar. Thanks.

Why a local family villa for reception after? Best bet (IMHO and from personal experience) is to hold the reception at a recommended Taverna nearby to the Wedding venue, pre-arranged of course!

Roughly how many guests are you expecting, please? Google or Bing will probably find you local Polis photographers / video professionals, too. Don't forget that aspect on an important day like this!

Transport: Look in the PL Directory for George and Kula at Easy Rent a Car Ltd. They will make your guests more than happy, including drop offs and pick ups at PFO.

More Info: Here's a link to Jac's site, which contains shedloads of useful information for people marrying in Cyprus:

All the best! AL :)

The natura hotel is a lovely venue in polis for both ceremony and reception. They organise it and guests can stay at the hotel which isnt expensive. Its much more private than other hotels. Pm me if you want further details. I also have a website giving advice getting married here.

Flossie wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2017 11:17 am Some friends of mine from Paphos own a simply amazing large villa in Giolou about 10 mins from Polis which is very very popular for weddings, check it out: https://www.luxuryholidayvillacyprus.com/
If my Football Pools or Premium Bonds ever drop in, Flossie, I would want to buy that beautiful house...

Driving from Polis back to Paphos on the main B7 highway, as you approach Giolyou, I remember seeing this virtual palace being built, perched on a hilltop on my left, with the village (already blogged by Dom) down on my right. The video makes it look gobsmackingly awesome!

Are we talking about the same residence, I wonder? AL :?

Strange that, as Flossie's original link works fine for me here on FF, as it seemed to do for Hudswell too..

As they say in Eastenders (always with non-smiling and grim features)- WASSGOINGON?

A few of my friends used amazing weddings cyprus run by a lady called Mandy.
Both couples were impressed with the pre ceremony preparations the wedding and meal and the after service provided.

If you want a fantastic venue in the Polis area, try Ayill Anargyri Healing Spa Resort. Gorgeous place and a beautiful setting for a ceremony outside their own chapel.

One of my favourite locations.

Here is a link to one of our videos from there.

His always are - I don't think he knows how to do a bad one!!

Again, that is very kind of you but, to be fair, I do get paid for it and film and photograph around three weddings per week. Just done one for a lovely couple where it turns out that the bride is a model. That will be a good one to see!!!!!

Thanks all. To respond;
Civic not religious wedding ceremony
Family villa idea - as happy associations
Who is Mandy?
Maybe I should extend this question to wedding planners in Paphos area.

For a planner try Katie Williams from Marry Me Cyprus.

As to Ayii Anargyri, the ceremony is outside the chapel but can be a civil ceremony.
