We had planned on going out for a Hungryhorse pub lunch. Wednesday special, Curry and a pint for £5

At 2pm, we all sat here at home, and none of us felt hungry enough to bother going out... Daughter and her hubby ate some of her birthday cake she'd made me. And I just enjoyed baked beans on toast (with a drizzle of hot chillie sauce) at 8pm. It was yummy!

Naturally, copious quantities of whiskey went down our gullets, except for daughter (who was driving back to Worcester). All in all, a very nice day for me. Apart from the weather, where it has suddenly dropped to 13ºc and peeing down from 11am onwards here in Luton...
