Why?

What are the benefits/advantages of doing this?

I have used the facility when I was on CL.. I used to be pestered by one particular member and of course until I used the 'don't show' facility, he knew every time I was on..

But now I see it as having very little value..

I was used to this on CL. Indeed no reason here.

CL or here never found any need to hide behind or not to show my name, never had any problems I could not deal with myself, I am sure if you mention a troublesome member to the site owner he would deal with it as I used to do, but if you feel a little insecure then do not disclose name or emails, you see some of the more argumentive members on PL hiding away with names that mean nothing, why? I think we know why.

Admin can see all names, hidden or not-hidden. Bwa ha ha!

But we all knew that .............. well most of us hopefully!
