Yes we was there , the cod in light batter was yum yum . Definitely a restaurant to be recommended .

Not sure if we will be there next week , we like to try different eateries each time , and we are so lucky to have so many good ones here .

Had a great meal on Sunday at the Fly Again.
What a lovely afternoon, a good menu & the best Guinness equal to O'Neals in town, ( the best draught Guinness in town ).
We will certainly be going there again. 5 mins on the coast road past Pollis. Enjoy.

The best fish and chips around can be found at Aphrodite's Rock Brewery, Tsada. There is a choice of haddock or cod with chunky chips and either mushy peas or curry sauce. The batter (obviously) is beer batter and you'll be hard pushed to find larger fillets of haddock or cod anywhere!

Hi Trev, I did notice you and your wife sitting outside by the door. When I was about to come out and chat to you you were saying goodbye to the three regular ladies at the outside table. I really enjoyed my meal.

I went to Riley's on the Tomb of the King's Road last week, for some "traditional Yorkshire fish and chips". Good.
I had large cod, mushy peas and chips. Super.
I would not recommend going "off menu". A friend with me, for some bizarre reason, decided to go for some chicken. He said it was ok, but... Rather like ordering a burger in an Italian restaurant.
I should add, they've done up the place quite a bit since last year. Looks much much better now. They also have a bit of live music on some nights if you go in for that sort of thing.

I saw an advert for Fish Chips and Mushy peas at the Railway Inn Chloraka. So as the picture looked good and the price was good €5.50 It was as good as it looked and will go again. They also serve it all week. For the BIG eaters they do do a very very large portion at an extra cost.

The Aquila wrote: Sat Jun 24, 2017 5:27 pm We had some really nice fish add chips from the Village Inn in Kissonerga after a recommendation and very nice they were too ! I also noticed that they do a "fish and chip shop" take away menu with all of the favourites expected from a UK Chippy.
How much for cod, chips and mushy peas? :?:
