iPhones have an app part of the operating system called Find. If you activate it then you can track its location from another iPhone or a computer. You can also specify who can do so or not.

It is quite practical as I can for example track the whereabouts of my kids and even my parents that live thousands of kilometers away. It can also be used to remotely delete all my phone content should I have lost it.

It is another great thing about Apple but I am sure Android has the same functionality by now as well. They are quick in following Apple ... - and vice versa sometimes too I am sure.

Thanks for that - just checked it out - it knew about places many years back that I rather not be reminded of... - scary!
