No, I didn't have my camera out this time. There was a lot of cake though. I bought some small stuff to put in geocaches.

It looked like they had a good turnout, and hopefully the Garden of Memories Appeal will have received a decent boost.

That's good, Dominic. But I never did manage to get my donation to the Garden of Memories Appeal (which I erroneously sent via PayPal to the main charity) redirected to the intended target...

I received my PayPal payment confirmation of donation to Archangel Michael Hospice Appeal, but never received a thankyou email from them. I've emailed them twice now, explaining my error, and politely asking for a redirect through to the Garden of Rembrance Appeal, as another PL member suggested..

NO REPLIES!

In future, I will think my charitable donations through a bit more carefully, I think...

Dominic, if you know any of the smashing people behind the Garden of Remembrance Appeal, PLEASE ask them to add PayPal as a gifting source, m8! As I'm convinced that this will grow their funds more quickly!
