Just stumbled across this in the footer of the BBC1 F1 site. Absolutely stunning live webcam footage (with sound) of a waterfall on a river in Alaska. Lots of sea birds around. But watch who else regularly wanders into view for a paddle...
You guys 'n gals in Paphos would NOT want one of these babes padding around your swimming pool, methinks!

Hope the BBC link works okay! If unavailable, just scroll down to the next one, until you find one that's live!
Cheers- AL

That is some awesome webcam they are using here, Dominic, agreed? It seems to 'sense' the body heat of a large mammal (like a Brown Bear), pan around and zoom in to follow it!
Never seen anything quite so amazing ever before, to be honest! Audio as well...

Earlier on today, about 2pm Cy time, I clicked on this link again, and wondered "what is this? Is it still night time in Alaska? It was an underwater live video cam looking up to the surface, would you believe?
A bit of patience needed here, btw... Soon, salmon were swimming past, right to left, to swim UP the waterfall (where brown bears await) to head for their spawning waters at the head of this beautiful wild river (where you wouldn't exactly choose to pitch an overnight campsite, LOL!)
A few minutes later, along came the brown bears, swimming around in a circle with a dog paddle, heads under water, air bubbles coming out of their nostrils, ready to grab the first passing fish! Amazing! I never knew bears were that clever, not even Yogi, LOL!

A quick update here.. I've found another direct explore.org link that appears to be sited right by the waterfall.
Bear in mind that Alaska is 11 hours behind Cyprus time, so best viewed 5pm onwards... Be patient please, as with this cam, you can actually see the salmon leaping up to get over the falls, swimming against a strong downstream current!
Notice also all the gulls lurking around, awaiting odd scraps that the brown bears missed!
