Does anybody know what the event is? The Square has lots of tables etc, and it has all the makings of a fete, yet I have seen on signs about the place. Were I not so intent on going for a swim in the pool I would wander down myself and enquire...

Don't normally fill up the square for a wedding. Who knows though. I might just wander down in a bit...

Whatever it was there is now an awful lot of rubbish blowing about the square.

There have been evening markets in the past.

The rubbish has now been tidied up. It looked more like a culinary event than a market.

Yup, that's the one. Probably 50/50 food stalls and hardware/toys/clothes and other stuff.

I don't think they are frequent. I think they're part of the summer fun. Haven't been to that one for probably 5 years.
