We quite frequently drive down to the jetty to jump off that. We did see a couple of bags underwater, floating towards Argaka, but nothing horrendous.
Mind you, I did have an accident on the beach near Sandy Beach Villas, last winter. The sea was very rough so I decided to go body boarding. I don't advise it there. The waves may not be super high but they are very powerful. I was flung off my board head first into a pile of rocks and pebbles. I had a lovely shiner as a result, much to the puzzlement of the locals.
As somebody mentioned the other day, the real battering appears to have happened up by the Blue Lagoon. We used to drive there to swim, but now most of the sand has vanished.
And kudos on the bag.
