Bet everyone knows what this creature is, parked on my wall! Oddly, he didn't skedaddle when I got close.

My garden trees and bushes are full of them! The noise they make continuously from dawn to dusk is deafening!

I know, I know, they are the bane of my life when they emerge singing and chirping in the summer months, such a bloody racket they make. However, after Max's comment that the baby cicada might be thirsty, I put out a dish of water. I'm such a sucker!

We don't have so many of them in Polemi. We get serenaded more by crickets.

Aphrodite :!: Is not good enough she wants a shower, not a bath and die.  A little sprayer with clean water will be good enough, but mind if it (he/she) quirts at you for a thank you :D

It was a very shallow flat dish, I didn't want to drown him/her! I'm sure if I had sprayed him/her it would have frightened the life out of it! :D

One got in our car one day !! I had to stop the car as it was going beserk ! Another day one somehow got into our little dogs mouth and the noise was coming from her mouth - she did not like it one bit and they always used to squirt my husband when he was gardening.

Aphrodite, I thought you could spray the wall near to the creature not direct on it. If it is aware that there is moist it will perhaps move some inches and drink. :) Or is it already gone?

No, it's gone. Probably got fed up waiting for me to spray water on the wall next to him/her. I will know next time! :D
