No, fine with me Trev. Two bathrooms cleaned and the patio power washed so far. The 6 hours of furniture collecting and truck loading / unloading for the charity shop was a killer yesterday though, you could probably hear the sizzle at your house as I jumped in the pool yesterday afternoon!

I'm sweating buckets cleaning and laying ant traps having discovered the buggers swirling around, having stuck gold with chicken in my cat's food bowl. The cat (Mia) alerted me by jumping up and down Image, and I found a long line of them transporting the food, just as I thinking of retiring last night. Little sods ! I've since glued up their entrance and laid cinnamon too.

Yes Trev, it is the hottest morning so far this year with 34.6c and 24% humidity since 8 am. The dry wind is coming from the mountains and would made it unbearable for my dog with all the fur which she is loosing in a big way at the moment. I don't want to make everyone jealous, but with my brand new
outdoor air-con running on low setting, it was nice to have breakfast at the patio for both of us. :) OK it is in the full shade till afternoon and covered and surrounded by hedges of hibiscus at it faces North East. Now I watch birds and lizards around me with the camera on hand in case something interesting comes up for a pic as I have a garden hose open that everyone gets some liquids as well. (I had my third cuppa 1/2 l already)

Well I am glad that all is well with the P L people.. Apart from the heat of course. I have been doing a little gardening, but I have come in now, as it is 35c in the shade outside. But it is almost 30c inside.. so the Aircon will be on this afternoon..

What was it in the direct sun?
Here in Vrysoulles it was 55c in the direct sun, 35c in the shade. 55% R/Hum.

Here in LTN at the moment, we have 19ºc max, dropping to 13ºc overnight, and a gentle 6mph westerly breeze. RH is 60% but pollen count is in the HIGH range.

It's a bit like having all round A/C for free, almost, LOL!

Cheers- AL :)

Just returned from a 50 km bicycle trip. I guess I wouldn´t have enjoyed it as much at 35 degrees (even though I´m cheating by using an e-bike).

Central heating on tonight. Was down to 17c inside earlier, so had to put heat on for a couple of hours.
Weather supposed to improve a little bit tomorrow. Still showery and windy here in North Wales. Rode my new ebike back from the showroom this afternoon. I had tried a fold up ebike before coming out to Cyprus, but found the ride very bumpy and the small wheels did not give the bike a lot of stability. Have now bought a Whisper 205E and it rides very well. It coped with the two steep hills very well, and most of the journey I rode on power level 1. It has five power levels, or can be ridden without power.

Very impressed with RW's Gtech link! But at around £1,000 - I might consider just getting a taxi to and from Tesco once a week, when I'm too decrepit to drive anymore...

Only if they ride through Bavaria. Which is unlikely.

Is this because it is 'your' area. :-)

But sadly not in Cyprus :-(
