We are having terrible trouble opening and shutting our patio door and have been told it needs new wheels, which come in different sizes. Can anyone recommend a local company that would deal with our problem please, thanks.

On the road to Papantoniou in Chlorakas (coming from Kissonerga) there is an Aluminum door company. They can do this.

They are very easy to do if they are standard wheels.
Can you remove your patio door yourself? if so take the door out of the runners and turn it upside down or on its side and unscrew the plate that holds the wheel and take it to onestop (the wheel, not the door) they carry spares (very cheap) and are easily replaced. Hardest part is lifting the door, rest is simple.

We’ve been told it’s a simple job but cannot lift the double glazed door as it’s so heavy. Wouldn’t attempt it ourselves even with help, it’s far too risky for us “oldies”!! We’ll go to the Aluminium company you mentioned, many thanks
