Morning
Any recommendations for someone that can come and flush/clear our drains? We appear to have an issue with an upstairs toilet - it’s not blocked but it’s smelling!
Cheers
Darrell

Is it the silicone seal around the base? Most of the builders in Cyprus seem to rely on this and it's easy to replace.

Had the same..ended up taking the loo out and replacing the seal to the waste pipe, the seal was less than €5, then resiliconed the loo to the floor.....
Sounds complicated but was straight forward....all the diy places sell the seal...

Like daveg, I believe the problem is with the seal that joins the WC to the drain pipe. It needs attention at least, or replacing

Check the seal taking the waste water from the sink...............that's where we had problems in the past

Is that not just a U bend with water in it? The trapped water should provide the seal for foul smells

Thanks everyone - we’ve had issue with the seal previously that id managed to fix…it ended up being a blockage!
Hydrojet came out and were great…I’m blaming the kids!
