There will be another dozen more open up tomorrow, stop ripping off people with stupid high subs, and people won't turn to dodgy sites

Many people like we used to pay subs for a Sky Card and use it in the sky box.. The size of the receiving dish was usually 2.7mts or even 3mts.. We had the dish moved with us when we moved house, twice.
But then Sky reduced the footprint (area) that the signal covered and so we stopped paying for a sky card
Like many thousands of others we now watch TV via the internet

The crazy thing is that I bet there are many people who would willingly pay a a reasonable price for a global package from someone like Sky, TNT, ,etc etc but all the media companies, sports clubs and leagues etc etc have tied themselves into so many knots with various exclusivity deals, broadcast rights etc that they are so far backed into a corner that there’s no way out. I may be wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised that if could sell direct to consumers globally, their revenues may well go up. It’s happening in other industries where customers are turning to DTC companies and saving a fortune on cutting out layer upon layer of middle persons.

Like you, we’d happily pay “the going rate” for a decent TV package, might stop dropping out and buffering

Sadie. Re the buffering. If it is a Mag box you are referring to have you tried altering the buffer setting, possibly up to 5,6, or 7.
