After all these cloudless weeks recently, it looks like that we get different weather next weekend with thunder and rain forecast. However how much will it rain and where exactly. The empty reservoirs need a lot!!
At the moment October is gone and it's still Summer tells us the local press....

Yes I was amazed at how quickly the Asprokremmos went from being pretty full to pretty empty this year.

Regarding the forecasts, it isn't the first time rain has been predicted. We tend to get a bit but most of Paphos seems to miss it.

It is this front I thought will bring proper first rain this Autumn. It is on the way moving from South to North-West to arrive at our area Paphos district around 6 PM this evening.

So far, at my place above Paphos town there was no rain at all, only a bit a wind... so let's see what happens. If there is again wind perhaps nothing...

It’s not much fun in Paphos General either.

This is on the 3rd floor, unfortunately one of our friends was admitted to that area earlier today.

So the rain and thunder I had in my area confirmed the image i showed before it happened. I measured 10 l/m2 rain and lost 2 large trees due to nasty windstorm and lightning.
