Not very reassuring news if you're a Revolut client - as I think from previous postings, quite a few people on here are:

:by coincidence I was contacted by Revolut yesterday, a scam!... As the call had an 092 code ( Pakistan)..on my phone it came up as Revolut calling ....
Just killed the call....

I did hear some months ago, that their fraud dept isn't very efficient.

Still a good product. Just don't keep large sums in it.

I had a fraudulent transaction straight after a trip to Budapest, and Revolut's fraud department couldn't have been better or more helpful. Card was cancelled and a new one reordered within minutes of the transaction notification, and the transaction was reversed pending further investigation which was also concluded swiftly.

Maybe it´s a blessing in disguise that I haven´t managed to set up an account with them because their app neither accepted photographs of my yellow slip nor of my German ID card as proof of identity. That said, it may be a good idea to invest a few Euros in insurance against that kind of fraud. I´m paying €7.95/year for cover of up to €10000/case.
