Magnitude 3.9 earthquake strikes off Paphos coast

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck Cyprus in the early hours of the morning, at 2:18 AM, according to initial reports. The tremor was felt in several regions, including Limassol, Nicosia, and Paphos.
The epicenter was located 21 kilometers southeast of Paphos, offshore in the Mediterranean Sea.
Though noticeable, the intensity and duration of the quake were less severe than a previous earthquake recorded about a month ago, which approached a magnitude of 5 and caused widespread concern, particularly in the Paphos area.
