[img][/“The proposal will be the first mixed-used development in Pafos with 2 towers. One 14 storey tower will have a 172 key five-star hotel and the second a 13 storey apartment building with 37 units.
The pool area and the gardens will be shared between the two developments and apartment residents will have access to all hotel facilities and full hotel services. The hotel will have a pool bar serving creative snacks, a sea-view sky bar / restaurant, an all-day dining restaurant with live open kitchen, a gym and spa, banquet and conference with co-working space facilities, and luxury fashion retail space. Apartment owners will have the option to place their property in the hotel's rental pool.
Thanos Hotels & Resorts' reputation in the market will add significant value to the development in terms of the premium we will be able to command and the facilitation of pre-sales through our existing client base.

Weird. This sounds familiar, but doesn't mention Thanos. It was from 2023:

From what I heard, they had put a stop to any more towers. I don't know how true that is though. Currently at the tower now they have built foundations for another one right next to it. Interestingly, not where the Aloe is, but on the other side. However, nothing else has happened there for quite a while.

I seem to remember that there were excavations in a part of the sea front area when ancient walls were found between Paphos and Gereskipou it was conducted by the Govt Antiquities Dept a couple of years ago. This held up a planning application submitted to build this two tower development. These from memory were very close together and to my mind looked unattractive. There was opposition, but subsequently it received planning permission.

If we have to have high buildings, I much prefer this design to the current tower, which is just a boring block and unpleasing to the eye.
