These are the bins nearest to my house and the ones that I normally use.. But both bins have been full since Saturday, and yes they were emptied on Friday Morning.
It is a real problem of what to do with rubbish generated from our homes..
I know there is a green point in Paphos and I believe one in Polis as well.
Polemi did have a council 'tip' but I heard that it is not open..
The council also provided a very big skip at one time, but I have not seen that for a few years

There's a mess there fairly regularly I notice, as it's on our way home, but particularly bad today. Have you complained to the Polemi muchtar?
I don't live in Polemi and don't have rubbish collected but have several 'favourite' skips that I use depending on where I'm going. Or the closest if the rubbish is a bit whiffy!

I personally haven't spoken to the Muchtar.. But Council employees must see this as well as the ones who use the two bins. Maybe even the Muchtar goes past it.. I would be very surprised if Polemi Council are not aware of this particular eyesore

Yes good points - the council must know of the situation. Ive noticed in other similar rubbish eyesore places that the skips disappear (there was one near Vikla)
I sometimes wonder why certain skips end up like it - edge of village / quiet?

The ones by us on the way to the Tulip field are no better either. They too filled up over the weekend. Perhaps people are having a clearout before the holidays?

Dominic, I did call at the bins near you this morning, as i know in the past you have said they don't fill quickly.
But as you mention now, the bins near you were full this morning..
