I’m having a right whine about our bins and recycle bins down by the little white church in Peyia. The state of them is absolutely disgusting, infact they haven’t been emptied for at least a week to our knowledge and the rubbish is everywhere. The fact that people have lovely villas just across the road from the mess it’s a total disgrace. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the council staff or are they just not bothering. The fact that it’s one of the main roads to the village isn’t a good advert for our village.

Why not take pictures and put them on the FB page of the municipality or the mayor's page.

You're lucky our bins can go for 2-3 weeks without being emptied, have contacted various departments...to no avail.....
Not helped by those who continue to dump garden cuttings etc in them, even though our local goats would soon devour them......
