There has been quite a lot of publicity about the Akamas which the Govt are keen to turn into a National Country Park. Construction of a lot of concrete roads which will encompass most of this area started then stopped due to claims that these new roads were too wide and not according to plan. It may have started again..
But there may be plans to build a new road in that direction.
