Christmas is coming, and the festive spirit has once again descended on Polis! Yesterday marked the opening of their Christmas Village, so we went down to take a look.

Saturday - Parade in Polis from 3.30 followed by carol singing and the lighting of the Christmas tree at 5pm and musical entertainment until 9pm.

Wow things have certainly changed in Cyprus since we lived there.

Our first Christmas was awful, you would never know that it was Christmas, we walked from Geroskipu to Paphos harbour on Christmas day, hardly saw a soul, no lights no decs, nothing, it was dead.

So glad to see that things have changed, Polis looks amazing, sorry to have missed it.
