Hi, could any members of the forum recommend a general handyman, who would be able to remove some tiles from around patio, and lay some drainage channels.

I don't know whether it will help but, after 26 years here, I find that, in general, handymen may be cheap but often require their "work" has to be redone. You would be better getting a professional tiler for your job and have it done properly, probably at no greater cost.
