Apollo’s Golden Path

THE GOLDEN PATH
Many centuries ago, people in these warm and beautiful lands believed that the Sun God Apollo (or Helios) drove his golden chariot across the sky every day. At the end of the day the chariot would dip below the horizon and be magically returned underneath the world ready to spring up anew the next morning.
If you look out vaguely west over the sea on a beautiful evening, Apollo‘s chariot will create a magical golden path for you.
We all see the same path in a slightly different way, depending on where we stand, be it a beach, a cliff top or a balcony. But the magic bit is this: wherever you are the path always leads straight to YOU.
(Taken last December near the sea caves at Peyia. I’ve no idea who they were)
