Strong surge in Cyprus property sales

There was a strong surge in the number of Cyprus property sales during May, with the number of contracts deposited at Land Registries across the island up 59 per cent compared to May 2016.

Two friends - one with a house in Erimi on the market for £350k for 3 years and one with a house in Stoumbi on the market for £365k for 2+ years have both sold recently for full asking price - one to an Israeli couple and the other to a UK expat.
A local (Polis) townhouse took 5 days to sell when put on the market last week.
Maybe Cyprus has turned the corner...

Is that an investable idea? Are there e. g. REITs investing in Cyprus only?
