Paphos Life

My cardiologist at Iasis hospital is no longer accepting GESY patients so I need another cardiologist in Paphos, more easily reached by bus than Iasis. I need a checkup. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes……Dr Stylianos Kouvonaris. Close to the Law Courts. Google Therapis Medical centre for directions

He was until recently the cardio at Evangelismos. Now set up privately and seeing Gesy patients too

Excellent cardio. Top notch diagnostic equipment.

Diagnosed me as having 2 blocked arteries in my Coronary. One 80% blocked, one 98% blocked.

Within 7 days, I’d had an angiogram, and been booked into the German Oncology Centre in Limassol for the first of two stent procedures. The Surgeon was the director of the cardio centre - very well respected.

I’m now a year on from my ops.and I think it fair to say, if the intervention by Kouvonaris hadn’t happened, j wouldn’t be writing this post

Who was your surgeon at GOC?
I am a patient there (dermatology). They are tops

My Surgeon was Dr Majid Kalani (Swedish)

GOC are early the finest hospital I’ve ver used.

My Nephrology guy - theDirector of the Renal Unit was latterly Paphos Generals nephrologist

I thought them fabulous. Tip top dermatology diagnosis. Great plastic surgeon.
They will review me early December.
