Hi All,

I know they are putting a new road in to Lara at the moment but does anyone know if we can drive through at the moment, I noticed that there is a detour to Viklari but does it carry on the Lara and is it OK as I do not have 4WD. Or perhaps if I go through Inea.

Ineia is the better bet, if you want a smoother ride.

For anyone interested whilst it is hard going the road to Lara from Ineia is OK, initially the diversion is well sign posted but when you get down to the old road near the sea and turn right toward Lara you go through a sign saying ROAD CLOSED, then on your return the same. Very dusty, more than usual but Lara was great and almost no one there.
