I expect that most opticians will do it as long as you buy the frames from them

We have been dealing with George's Optical House for 25 years now and have always had excellent service, so would recommend you visited there.

When I had new glasses earlier this year, I did exactly that with my old lenses to create a cheap second pair as my prescription hadn’t changed - one lens had a slight chip in that was driving me crazy but fine as a back up or when gardening etc.

This was with Panikos at Eye Contact on TOTK.

Ian.

Always good to have a decent back up pair of spectacles, especially if the current ones need to be sent away for repair even for a few days!

Good to know this because I have had new lenses put into old frames on previous occasions as there was nothing wrong with the frames and I needed to keep the price down.
