That was ever so funny yesterday ....

Something happened yesterday at my place and as it was ever so funny I will share it with you on here...
My landlords father, a farmer, asks me sometimes to phone him that he can find his mobile phone when he forgot where he left it. It is a large piece of land, about 20.000 m2 with plenty of fruit trees etc. where he works every morning.
So yesterday, he asked me again to phone him as he cannot find where he put it. I stood with him outside at my entrance gate and we both tried to listen to his mobile phone ringing sound. I was hearing it in the far distance, perhaps 200 m away to the right where we stood. So he marched off to find it there, however without success. He asked me to try again and well, the sound came for a sudden from the opposite direction, so he went there but could not find it and came back. He was very upset as it is not only the phone but also some money which he put inside the phone cover.
By the way it was boiling hot, about 38c when he asked me a last time to try phoning. This time we could here the phone close-by in the bushes and some other noise with it. He rushed to that place and what a surprise: a large black stray dog appeared with his phone in his mouth walking away.
Finally the dog dropped the phone when he threw a large stone at him, so he had his phone back and also his money was still in the damaged leather cover, however the phone in a bad condition.
So, for me it was just the revenge from the dog who was stealing the phone from the farmer's table where he left it this time, because he is not feeding the stray, chasing him away whenever he appears.
