Paphos Life

My favourite place to eat fresh fish is a tavern at Timi Beach. Many times I posted about it in the past.

This year with the funny weather May/June the place opened their sea front pavilion very late, actually last week first time, so I thought to show some photos from my fish lunch today.

Of course i started with a large village salad and i forgot to take a pic when it was served at the table, so some is already missing....



They had fresh sword fish on their menu today and as it was a small fish (baby sword fish) i ordered 2 slices (420 gr) of it.
It comes from the grill with onion and tomatoes gratinated.
By the way, the Greek writing on the table paper says:" we serve fresh Cypriot fish from our own fisher boats"


As there was bad weather in May the Authorities did not finish cleaning the beach from the seaweed completely, so there is some work to do...
but this is the view from my table.


However on the other side towards the airport it is already done and the beach looks nice there


I think the owner was quite happy with the business as at the moment are many weddings and locals have to go there

Hi, is this the restaurant just before Paphos airport please

The name is Filiotis Fish Tavern. If you go on Google map (Paphos Airport) you have to turn to the left just after the Army airfield. There is also a large sign and you will be there after 400 m.

Fully agree with you Sadie, we first went many moons ago after reading a post by Max and have never been disapointed.
