converting an english driving licence

Hi There, can anyone recommend how I can obtain a cypriot driving licence - if I have a U.K. one, which is valid till next year.I will admit that I actually don't yet have a car here - but hopefully will be looking to buy one in the near future- but, because of Brexit I have been told my U.K. license is not legally valid anyway
Any help, advice would be appreciated.
