The Timios Stavros Monastery was built over the foundations of an early Christian basilica in the 15th century. It can be found southwest of the village of Anogyra, near Pissouri.

Thank you Dominic it’s a very interesting site and I think still used by the residents of Anyoira for a certain religious celebration in the calendar
Anoyira is a favourite village of mine with it’s well deserved heritage status and great community vibe

Given that the church itself was locked when I visited, it is definitely still in use.
